Meehan, who goes by Chas, said while his company also sells the classic Ford parts from its main location in a renovated firehouse at 150 Clinton Street, it is online purchases that allow his business to expand. Ford Thunderbird enthusiasts from as far away as South America, Europe and Australia look to Delaware City when seeking parts to restore their classic cars, says Charles Meehan, owner of Bob’s Bird House, a T-bird parts and restoration shop.
